Tasks
Track the entire PR lifecycle, collaborate closely with contributors, monitor review statuses, and manage merge queues to keep our integration pipeline moving fast
Conduct technical PR reviews for critical code touching sensor interfaces, robotics pipelines, ROS2 packages, and middleware-related integrations
Maintain branching strategy compliance, oversee issue tracking, handle tagging, lead release preparation, and champion ultimate repository hygiene
Monitor and maintain our build pipelines, troubleshoot failures, coordinate quick fixes, and support our Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure
Proactively identify interface mismatches, untangle dependency issues, and eliminate integration blockers across multi-functional teams
Apply your understanding of hardware-facing software, communication stacks, and deployment constraints to streamline reviews and coordination
Requirements
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Robotics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
At least 4 years of professional experience in robotics software, system integration, or embedded software environments
Solid development skills in C++ within Linux environments (exposure to C or scripting languages is a great bonus)
Practical, hands-on experience with the ROS2 ecosystem and robotics software integration workflows
Deep familiarity with Git-based development, advanced PR review processes, CI/CD workflows, Docker, and automated build systems
A strong understanding of sensor integration, middleware concepts, distributed software systems, and standard robotics pipelines (perception, localization, control interfaces).
Nice to have
Understanding of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, SPI, I2C, UART)
Prior exposure to Embedded systems or RTOS
Experience navigating and aligning goals within multi-team or cross-functional environments
