Interior Designer / Draftsperson

About the role

Small, Bay Area interior design firm is looking for a diligent, enthusiastic and detail-oriented draftsperson / designer. Duties include all aspects of project management including: resourcing fabrics, furnishings and finishes; vendor correspondence via quotes, proposals and invoices; light deliveries on and around the peninsula; and keeping track of the logistics of the projects assigned to the assistant.

Technical Requirements

-Proficiency in AutoCAD & Sketch Up (this is a must) -Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) -Apple Macintosh familiarity -Studio Designer or other design-specific database knowledge a huge plus

Basic Requirements

-Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to work hard with enthusiasm and efficiency -Self-motivation, ability to work with limited supervision and willingness to tackle small and large tasks -Strong time management skills, and ability to take initiative -Excellent written and verbal skills with a high level of accuracy in spelling and basic arithmetic
