About Freed Doctors are overworked, burned out, and leaving medicine in large numbers. Freed combines deep clinician love with frontier AI and intense execution to build products that make clinicians happier. Our first product is an AI scribe that automates medical documentation. Since May 2023, we have grown to 26,000 paying clinicians, generate over 100,000 patient notes daily, and made thousands of clinicians happier . We are now expanding into patient-facing assistants, Front Desk automation, EHR integrations, patient insights, and the foundation for an intelligent health record. We are looking for fast, ambitious, high-judgment people who want to take care of the people who care for our health. About the Role We are hiring a VP of Engineering to build and lead Freed's high-velocity, AI-native engineering organization. Your mandate is to help Freed ship ambitious healthcare AI products faster, with clearer ownership, stronger technical leadership, and consistently high product quality.
