Payment Senior Product Manager

About the role

Your mission As the Senior Product Manager for the Payment squad, you will lead the evolution of our global transaction engine, ensuring a seamless and reliable experience for millions of travelers. Your mission is to build a robust, scalable payment infrastructure that supports BlaBlaCar’s multimodal and international growth. You will be responsible for optimizing every step of the payment lifecycle—from checkout conversion and authorization rates to payout flows and fraud prevention. You will play a strategic role in transforming our payment landscape, moving toward a flexible and resilient architecture. This involves integrating diverse local payment methods, enhancing our promotional capabilities through advanced discount systems, and streamlining financial operations. By bridging technical complexity with user-centric design, you will remove transactional friction and directly contribute to the company's profitability and global scale. You will co-lead the squad with an Engineering Manager and partner closely with Finance, Product Operations, Data, and other Product leaders to align our payment infrastructure with the company's broader strategic priorities.
