Intern in Sorbent Characterization (100%)

About the role

Your role: As an intern, you will support the evaluation and development of sorbents and sorbent structures for DAC. You will gain hands-on experience in lab-based testing, data analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Lab Assessments: You collaborate within an integrated team to carry out lab-based assessments, including adsorption characterization, accelerated lifetime testing, and process-relevant evaluations of novel materials. Material Stability: You investigate material stability by testing under accelerated aging conditions to simulate long-term performance. Sorbent Characterization: You characterize sorbent behaviour by measuring unary and binary isotherms under controlled conditions. Independent Work: You work independently on targeted work packages to understand how material properties influence DAC performance. Method Development: You contribute to the development, refinement, and validation of experimental methods to ensure reliable and reproducible testing outcomes. Documentation & Communication: You validate, troubleshoot, and clearly document your work to ensure effective communication across interdisciplinary development teams at Climeworks.
