Senior Data Strategist

About the role

Lightspeed is looking for a creative and technically strong Senior, Data Strategist to join our Data Strategy team. As a Senior Data Strategist, you’ll be responsible for driving innovative, high-value data initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on the end-to-end data lifecycle, with a particular emphasis on data transformation, analytics, and data science. As a Senior Data Strategist, you will work on proof-of-concept projects to quickly assess their feasibility and potential impact, which will help inform our larger data strategy. Once validated, you will collaborate with other data professionals to transition these projects into scalable, robust solutions. The Role: As a member of the Data Strategy team, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end data projects across multiple areas of the organization, with a focus on proof-of-concept projects that have high potential impact. This is a full-stack data role from discovery and hypothesis development to data exploration, modelling, implementation, and impact measurement.
