Senior Backend Engineer, Scanning Infrastructure

About the role

Lokker is a privacy platform that helps organizations understand and control what is happening across public-facing infrastructure: websites, browser-side applications, scripts, pixels, cookies, tags, forms, SDK/API calls, and browser-side data flows. We are hiring a senior backend engineer to own and continue to scale Lokker’s scanning infrastructure. This role focuses on backend systems for high-volume website scanning, browser automation, distributed scanning, networking, reliability, performance, and cost optimization. Relevant experience includes distributed systems, queues/orchestration, high-scale backend services, HTTP/TLS/DNS, proxies, CDNs, WAFs, bot detection, fingerprinting, headless browsers, crawlers, scanners, or synthetic monitoring.
