Founding AI Engineer Retrieval and Knowledge Layer

Tasks

• Develop and implement AI models for local inference that integrate seamlessly with customer-controlled environments, ensuring data privacy and security.

• Design and build secure connectors to interface with existing systems such as file servers, SharePoint, Outlook, and internal knowledge bases, facilitating efficient data retrieval and processing.

• Collaborate with the team to refine and enhance the company's platform, focusing on permission-aware retrieval, citations, and audit trail capabilities.

• Engage directly with customers to gather feedback, troubleshoot deployment issues, and iterate on solutions to meet evolving business needs.

• Contribute to shaping the engineering culture of the company by embracing values of accountability, innovation, and teamwork, while fostering a learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing AI and machine learning systems, preferably in data infrastructure and analytics.

• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, with experience in using open-source AI frameworks and tools.

• Experience with deploying AI solutions in customer-controlled environments, ensuring data security and compliance with audit trails.
