As the Head of Government and Defense, you will lead and manage the company’s go-to-market efforts in the government, public, and defense sectors. WHOOP has established itself as a critical partner to many federal, state, local, and international government partners. You will be responsible for the strategy and execution of an ambitious sales effort to grow this vertical from its strong foundation. You will directly manage a team of Sales and Customer Success professionals. The successful candidate will be a strong leader and people manager, while also embracing a tactical perspective and an excitement to directly engage in the sales cycle to win deals. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop a strategy to scale the WHOOP business within the Department of War and throughout the U.S. federal government Lead and motivate a team of account executives and sales professionals to deliver ambitious results Deliver multiple high-value deals that expand WHOOP access to large swaths of the federal government Oversee
