Sr. Product Design Engineer

About the role

The NETGEAR Product Design team is a group of highly skilled cross-disciplinary designers working together across continents and cultures in a friendly, fast-paced, and inspiring environment. We design and deliver technology products to a wide range of customers under our brands: Orbi, Nighthawk, and NETGEAR. As a member of the Product Design team, you will lead the design, testing, performance, documentation, and production of networking hardware for retail and small business markets. These are high-volume products manufactured in Asia, and the successful candidate will manage the design and tooling of plastic and metal enclosures from concept through production for home and small-to-medium office use. This is a hybrid role, expected to be onsite 3 days a week in our Richmond, BC office. Key Responsibilities Design, evaluate, test, document, and improve products and components. Work closely with the product design team, product marketing, internal industrial design and mechanical engineering teams, and ODM partners to create new products or customize existing ones.
